Marie Bennion

 Marie, who received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University Northwest, brings with her 25 years of registered nurse experience. Then, received her Masters Degree in Nursing from Indiana University of South Bend. She has served this community along other communities as an RN in multiple specialty fields including the Intensive Care Unit, and Flight Nursing. Marie’s longest tenure has been 19 years working in the local Level II Trauma Center as RN and Nurse practitioner.

Marie is quite active in our community. You may see here working Notre Dame sports events including Notre Dame football, men and women basketball offering her health care expertise. Marie can also be found volunteering her expertise in the medical tent with the popular Sunburst road races.

When Marie isn’t working or volunteering her professional nursing services, her interests is training in Muay Thai and Brazillian Jujitsu, along with watching MMA fighting. She is also starting to return to the mixing board as a DJ!

Overall, Marie’s favorite role is that she is a Mom of four highly motivated children and grandma to her seven fun-natured and counting grandchildren. Life is good.
